1. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Rights
In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008, customers are entitled to fair, transparent treatment.
Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your rights under the CPA.
2. Cooling-Off Period for Online Purchases
If you purchased a product online, you may cancel the transaction within 7 days of delivery without providing a reason, provided that:
The product is unused
The product is unopened
The product is in its original packaging, with all seals intact
Return shipping costs will be for the customer’s account unless the product is defective or incorrect.
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
3. Hygiene & Safety Restrictions
Due to the hygienic nature of skincare products:
Opened, used, or tampered products cannot be returned or refunded
Products with broken seals, missing packaging, or signs of use will not be accepted
This applies even if the product caused a reaction, as individual skin responses vary and do not indicate a defect.
4. Defective or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is:
Defective
Damaged in transit
Incorrectly supplied
Please notify us within 7 days of delivery, providing clear photos and your order number.
In line with the CPA, you may choose between:
A replacement
A repair (where applicable)
A full refund
Return shipping for defective or incorrect products will be covered by us.
5. Allergic Reactions & Sensitivities
We strongly recommend performing a patch test before full use of any skincare product.
Glow Away is not responsible for adverse skin reactions where the product is not defective. Individual sensitivities, allergies, or skin incompatibility do not qualify as defects under the CPA.
For safety reasons, products used after a reaction cannot be returned.

Discounted or promotional items are eligible for return only if defective
No refunds are offered for change-of-mind purchases on sale items.
